МОИАЯОМИМ Я О Т Я З Т И Г ......U stall lo HollastiA 109 toeldu? to .omeM guisswanA July 21st, 1926. Mr. R. H. Whitehead, New Haven Clock Co., New Haven, Conn. Dear Mr. Whitehead:- We believe you will agree that the ar- ticle sent you under July 21st on the subject of "Radio Active Material an Industrial Hasard?", shows that Dr. Flinn has gone into this subject more thoroughly than anyone else. His findings, however, are not final; and it has occurred to us that since this subject is so important it would be most desirable for both the makers and users of luminous material to have the study and experiments carried on over a much greater period of time. of course, to do this re- quires a great deal of time and some money and we wonder if you, as a large user of luminous material, would be willing to contribute a reasonable amount towards a fund that might permit of a continuation of this splendid work. It is estimated that a minimum of $5,000 will be necessary. Yours very truly, President. CBLEE:OB
