Seth Thomas Oloci: Co.,
Thomaston, Conn.
Attention - Mr. Vagon 2. Adams.
Gentlement-
We believe you will arrea that the artiole
sent you under July 12th on the subject of "Radio Active
Material an Industrial Hazard7", shows that Thr. Finn has
gone into this subject more thoroughly than anyone else.
Hâs findings, however, are not final: and it has occurred
to us that since thie subject is no important it would be
most desirable for both the malters and users of luminous
material to have the study and experiments carried on over
a moch greater period of time. of course, to de thie ro-
quires n gront deal of time and some money and we wonder
if you, as a largo uger of Iuminous matorial, be
willing to contribute a ressonable amount towards a fond
that might permit of a continuation of this solendia work.
It 1a estinated that a of $5,000
will be necessary.
Yours very truly,
President.
