PERSONAL AND CONFIDENTIAL
Mr. Rdwerd Ingraham, Purchasing Agent,
The E. Ingraham Company,
Bristol, Conn.
Dear Mr. Ingrahant-
Thanks for the clioping enclosed in your letter
of October 20th.
We knew of this case, but had seen no publicity
until your clipping arrived.
Por your information, I may say that tipa Taterbury
people had an axhaustive excimination mode of their girls on Monday
and Tuesday of this week. I will have more information by the latter
part of the weels According to present plans, I expect to be in
Bristol Tednesday, October 27th, at which time I should be in a posi-
tion to give you complete information.
Referring to the last paragraph in your letter,
we can not understand how anyone could sell a radium dial clock for
$1.00 retail. So far as our information, and we feel that we are
well posted, there are none of the American concerns using a lower
grade on radium dials than Undarle "L". It is true that there are
some foreign clocks imported from time to time of a very low grade
dial, and it may be that some of these have been sold as low as $1.
each. We shall endeavor to che this point and if we find any
information of interest, will 0 tainly pass it along to you.
Yours truly,
President.
