Emery Gentlement We hand you herewith Summons and Complaint in an action instituted in the New Jersey Suprome Court by Katherine Schaub against this corporation and the Luminite Corporation of Newark,New Jersey joint defendants. This Summons and Complaint was served on our Agents the Corporation Trust Company of Nem Jersey on the 16th, and reached our hands yesterday. There seems to be some discrepancy between the dates of employ- ment claimed by the plaintiff and our employment records. Our records are being carefully checiced and we will furnish your attorneys with the correct dates at the very first opportunity. Our policy with your Company expired on August 20th,1920, and therefore there is a period of amployment claimed during the time we were covered by insurance in the American Mutual Liability Insurance Company. We are sending them today copy of this Summons and Complaint. We also understand that the Luminite Corporation had a policy with the American Mutual Liability Insurance Co., covering the period of time that the plaintiff worked there.
