BOEBLER JAMES B. EMORY October 7, 1927. Fryer VS. U. S. Radium Corporation - re Maggia A it Josiah Stryker, Esq., Prudential Bldge, Dr. James a grabbing Newark, N. J. Dr. Symmer Bellenne Edwin F. Smith, Esq.e 1 Exchange Place, Dr, Francis Carter and y to Jersey City, N. J. C. B. Lee, Esq., Pres't, U. S. Radium Corporation, 535 Pearl Street, New York City. Gentlemen: Mr. Raymond H. Berry, who represents the complain- ant in the above suit, informed Mr. Merkley tonight that the body of Mrs. Maggia would be disinterred on Saturday, October 15, between 3:00 and 3:30 P. M., at the Rosedale Gemetery, Orange, by Undertaker Holle of Branford Place, Newark; that the bady hes not as yet been disinterred and that it would not be renoved from its place of burial until all interested persons were present; and that he expecto to hare on hand to conduct his investigation and examina- tion, including the autopsy, Dr. Norris, Dr. St. George and Dr. Getler, all of Bellevue, we believe. Mr. Markley therefore suggests that Mr. Lee make the necessery arrangements direct with Mr. Berry for the attendance of our representatives. Mr. Markley also suggests that it might be wise for some representative of the United States Radium Corpora- tion to make a little investigation in advance at the cemetery to see what activity, if any, has been carried on with respect to hay- ing the body disinterred. Mr. Berry seems not only willing but anxious to have our representatives present and we would not be surprised ir something has already been accomplished with respect to having the body disinterred. This investigation could be made by a representative of the Astna, but in view of Mr. Lee's familiarity with the matter, it
