CASUALTY CLAIM DEPARTMENT
GEORGE W. PESINGER
NEW YORK, October 28th, 1987 REOZ.
RESIDENT VICE-PRESIDENT
OCT 2:19:7
United States Radium Corporation,
535 Pearl Street,
New York City.
Gentlemen:
We acknowledge with thanks the
receipt of your letter October 20th, 1927, as
a result of which the writer obtained a copy
of the "Star Eagle" of Newark and was much
interested in the article relating to our
matter.
It is our opinion that the
plaintiffs' attorneys realizing the difficulty
of overcoming the Statute of Limitations, are
endeavoring by post mortem, newspaper articles
and other unusual means to attach as much
importance as possible to the litigations,
hoping it will assist in persuading the trial
judge to give them the benefit of any doubt
which they have created as to the application
of the Statute in question.
Thanking you for your continued
assistance, we remain,
Yours very truly,
NEW AMSTERDAM CASUALTY COMPANY
GEO. W. PESINGER.
Resident Vice-President.
