nixture were exceedingly hamful to bodily tissues when
brought into close proximity therewith; it admit to it gave
the complainant no warning of any such alleged harmful con-
dition of saia paint or mixture; it denies that it constante
ly instructed and required complainant to be in close proxin-
ity with said radioactive substances, and it denies that the
complainant was exposed to the rays of said radioactive sub-
stances and the emanations thereof, except that it admits
that the complainant came in contact with the paint or mix-
ture aforesaid containing an infinitesinal emount or quantity
or radium, mesothorium or thorium X; it denies that the com-
plainant ingested radioactive substances to her great damage,
as a result of which complainant, through the period set forth
in Paragraph 1 of the said bill of complaint, constently ab-
sorbed quantities of radioactive substances until her body
begame impregnated throughout with such radioastive substances;
it denies the renaining allegations of Paragraph 4, except that
it admits that complainant was not instructed or warned of the
alloged dangezous nature of said paint or mixture, and it fur-
thor denies that said paint or mixture was of a dangerous
nature.
5. It has no knowledge or information sufficient
to form a belier as to the allegations of Paragraph S.
6. It denies Paragraph 6, except that it aú-
mits that complainant was finally successful in instituting
suit.
7. It admits Paragraph 7.
8. Answering Paragraph 8, it denies that the
defendant corporation, prior to and during the period referred
