Re: Freyer Vs. U. S.Radium Corporation
#348G-LDF
Dear Mr. Stryker:
With further reference to your letter of
January 26th, and our reply of the 28th:
I have talked with both Mr. Cross and
Mz. Roeder, and they both state that there is no truth in the
statement, which Dr. Sochocky is supposed to have made to
Mr. Berry. They say that Dr. Sechocicy never raised the question
with either of them as to the possibility of any danger in the
work as carried on in our Application Plant.
There is another joker in this supposed state-
ment by Sochocky: He complains that the water paste adhesive
was more dangerous than the oil of rosemary, and that he tried to
persuade us to use the Waterbury mixture, and of course infers
that it was oil. Waterbury Clock Company has never used any
other adhesivo than water paste, and is continuing to do so to
this date, with the possible exception of some samples of rosemary
oll which they have tied out.
I shall attempt to see you the first of next
weok to go over some recent developments.
Very truly yours,
President.
