Regardless of what the outcome will be she does not in- tend to submit herself to another examination. Thinks she has had too many already for her own good. With each examination and blood test taken she has noticed her condition has been greatly aggravat- ed due to having undergone so many blood tests she is anomic today. Arm never troubled her until she went to the Jersey City Hospital for examination and since having blood tests made her arm has been stiff and pains her continuously. Said if she submits to every examination the doctors want her to undergo, that they would soon draw every drop of blood from her body. At this instant a young man entered the room introducing him said he was her husband, Louis Hussman. Joining in the con- versation, lit. Hussman said "Well, I tell you how I feel about the whole business. My wife and the rest of the bunch are planning great things with the money they intend to get from the Radium people but I know they have not got a chance of recovering five cents and in the end they will be greatly disappointed. All these examinations to me are just humbug stuff. That fellow lartland at the Newark City Hospital is only looking to get a lot of nows- paper publicity out of the whole thing. I don't trust him for a minute. Money talks with him. He has already been bought over by the other side. It is a peculiar situation. No one ever heard of radium poisoning before. In the first place, the claims were
