April 23rd.1938. Dr. Bugene L. Fist, Life Extension Institute, Tnc., 25 West 43rd St. N.T.C. Dear Dr. Fisk: This will confirm the arrangement mnde with your Secretary for your appearence, as a witnege in our behalf, at the mits agning this Corporation by former employees alleging injuring from redium expogure. Thege cases are called for trial Tednesday April asth, in Newark, before Vice Chancellor Babkes. It will not be necessary for you to appear until Friday Tebruary 27th, and we shall communicate with you giving specifie instructions as to the location of the trial and the probable time of your appearance. Te hope to establish the following by your tentimony: 1. That we camêto you in the early part of 1924, and requested en of our employees. E. n. Viedt, our Plant Mana,ger was the one who interviewed you.) 2. That tre talked openty and frankly with you rolative to the question of possible injury to our empleyees then confronting us, and showed a sincere desire to find eut if there vas anything wrong with geid employees. (It ie charged by the complainents that we dereived and endeavored to suppress Information and faets releting to the condition). 3. That you examined onr employees at our request and made a report on some. A report was prepared and delivered to each employee examined covering her particular esse. 4. That the examinations showed no conditions other than those componly found in similar groups of employees in other lines of industry. 5. That at the time of this examination there were no reported cases in the medical literature of a Jaw necrosia having developed as a result of operatore using luminous material for the painting of watch, block and similar dials. Tle again wish to thanir you for your willingess to ampear in our behalf on the above date. To shall be very dad to consider you as an expert witness, and companente you accordindy.
