J'une 5th,1928. Mr. H. M. Armstrong, Radium Extension Service, 185 N. Wabash A ve., Chicago, Ill. Dear Mr. Armstrong: Confirmation of wire which we sent you this morning is herewith enclosed, and probally needs little or no amplification, inasmuch as I quite thoroughly explained our situation to you last Saturday. There was little else for us to do at this time except to settle this case, even though we felt that we had been forced into it by public opinion which had been built up in a very unscrupulous manner. We are very hopeful that the press will lose interest in this case very shortly, and that the radium situation will get back to normale as soon as possible. Assuring you that I appreciste the very hearty cooperation which you showed me when in Chicago, I am Very truly yours, Vice President. HHBarker :RH encloure
