Dr. Herman Schlundt,
University of Missouri,
Columbia, Mo.
Dear Dr. Schlundt:
Tie are herewith sending you confirming telegram
sent you yesterday, and trust that the data is on its way by this time.
Inasmuch as we felt there was a posibility of the
original being lost in transit we suggested your making a copy, and
hope that this did not materially invonvenience you.
We have made a rough calculation this morning of the
data submitted to me by Dr. Fialla, and according to his figures the
Hussman case contains approximately 10.6 micrograns, while the Fryer
case contains 14. Inasmuch as the Fryer case contains more than Dr.
Flinn and I found two years ago and the Hussmen case an appreciable
amount, which we believe wogld have been indicated in the test made at
Newark, even though the data wath regard to this case was not as
satisfactory as some of the others, that there is occasion for checking
the activities of these 2 girls very carefully. Just what our procedure
will be we have not definitely decided, but expect to discuss this
matter with the Committee the first part of next weelc.
Sincerely yours,
Vice President.
