Dr. Herman Schlundt,
University of Missouri
Room 110 New Chemistry
Columbia, Mo.
Dear Dr. Schlundt:
Your wire advising that it will be possible
for you to participate in the radium measurements during the
week of November 19th, is at hand.
I have just called Dr. Fialla, advising him
of your wire, and he states that they will proceed immediately
to make arrangements for these measurements during the early
part of the week, probably on Wednesday However, this does not
mean that you should defer your arrival in New York, as I think
that it is very essential that you and Dr. Fialla discuss this
work prior to the actual measurements.
Tie will hope to see you on Sunday, and if you
will advise the time of your arrival I will be glad to meet you
in Newark.
I think it is unnecessary for ne to go into
details regarding this work now for you will have ample
opportunity to fanilarize yourself with the situation after
your arrival.
I sent the paper to the"American Roentgenology
and Radium Therapy"on Friday of last week and hope to have news
as to their willingness to accept same by the time you arrive
here.
Sincerely yours,
HHBarker:RH
Vice President.
