Dear Mr. Lee:
In the past several months the Public Health
Service has received numerous letters from prominent
medical, scientific, and public health officials ex-
pressing a keen interest in the industrial health hazards
of radium painting, and asking that a conference be held
to discuss this problem.
In view of the importance of this problem,
especially as it relates to the adequate protection of
workers in the future, I would greatly appreciate your
attendance at a conference at which this matter will be
discussed.
The conference is to be held at the Butler
Building, No. 3 B St., , S. E., Washington, D. C., on
December 20, 1928, at 10:30 a.m.
