May 15th,1929. for Mr. E. A, Markley, 0/0 Collins & Corbin, 1 Exchange Placo, Jorsoy City, N.J. lieta & Tuck VS. U.S. Rediva Coro. Dear Mr. Markley: Please accept our thanks for your letter of Hay 15th, enclosing co' la of anaver draun by you and Mr. Snith in the above nazed actions. As regards to Company records and genaral informa- tion pretaining to these tuo cases - about all that we know was con- tained in our letter of December 19th,1928, to the varioua Insurance Companies, when wa submitted copies of the Sunsons and Complaint. lle quote from these letters as follows: The date of the ouployment of Ethelwynne Neta, (nee Poer), as net forth in the Sunnona and Complaint is March until December 15th,1918. Our records show that she DES employed on May lst, 1916, and quit our service some time previous to Novezber 15th,1918, since she does not appear on the Novomber 15th,1918 payroll, or en any subacquent payrolls. The Sumsons and Complaint claims that Ers. Tuck, (nee Phillips) worked for us from May 8th,1917 to December 1,1921. Our records show that ahe worked from May 28th,1917 to August 24th,1921." Te have the employment cards of these tiro wonen and, thoy ahow that they were each dial painters and, I think it is quite unlikely that they ever worked in any other department of our organisa- tion. So fer as the general files on these caaes are concerned all that wa have is the two employment cards and the correspondence which has taken place between oursolvos, the Insurance Companies and the Attorneys - all of which, except the employment cards, we assumo you have in your own files. Very truly yours, CBLee:RE President. c/c sont to Mr. Edvin Sith, o/o Edwards & Suith, 1 Exchange Pl., J.C.N.J.
