UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI COLUMBIA DEPARTMENT OF CHEMISTRY January 9, 1930 Mr. H. H. Barker, JAN 131930 U. S. Radium Corp., 535 Pearl St., New York City, N. Y. My dear Barker: According to your last telegram, the meeting is to be held in your office at ten o'clock on Friday, Jan. 17th. I am, thus, planning to leave Columbia about four o'clock Wednesday afternoon, and unless there are serious delays in train service, owing to rather heavy snow fall in this vicinity, I expect to arrive in New York City early Friday morning. If there are any special data on the Canfield case, of which you do not have copies, please advise and I shall try to look up my own records. I assume that the meeting will be concluded on Friday afternoon, and that I may be free to return to Columbia from New York on Saturday. Perhaps I had better plan to il stay one night in New York City, and hope you will kindly call un the Marseilles Hotel, at 103rd Street, reserving a single room for Friday night. I hope that Friday night will be free so that I may make a call on a friend or two in Columbia University. I shall, however, not have time to pay Dr. Flinn a visit unless there is some important business which we ought to transact, jointly, when you can be present too. With very good wishes, I remain Sincerely yours, Herman Schlundt HS:RA Herman Schlundt
