Dr. R. B. Moore,
Purdue "niversity,
Lafayette, Ind.
Dear Dr. Mopre:
During a conference held with our lawyers yesterday
afternoon, it was definitely decided to proceed with preparations for
trial. All possibility of settling the pending suits seems to be
out of the question.
It is the opinion of our counsel that you should be
available on Wednesday March 12th, and that probably your services will
not be required after Thursday March 13th - that is you should so arrange
your program so as to be available as a witness on and Thursday
March 12th and 13th.
Should anything happen to alter this plan I will
wire you immediately.
The case starting warch 10th, will be tried in Judge
Mountain's court in the Hall of Records at Newark. The Hell of Records
is located at the corner of High and 13th Sts., Newark. In case you
arrive in tow and are not able to communicate with our offices (Worth
6266), you had best proceed immediately to the Court in Newark. Take
the Hudson & Manhattan Tube at either 33rd St., or the Hudson Terminal
Bldg. dow town New York for Newark, N.J.
If you take the Tube
at 33rd St., it will be necessary for you to change trains at Journal
Square - that is from 33rd St., you should take a Journal Square train
and transfer at Journal Square to & Newark trein which starts from
Hudgon Terminal Bldg. Upon arrival at Park Placo in Newark, take a
taxi to the Hall of Records at the corner of 13th and High Streets, and
as I recall it Judge Mountainta court is on the 4th floor.
Sincerely yours,
Vice President
