amount of $8000.00, drawn to the order of Potter & Berry,
in settlement of the Canfield case.
It is understood that our action in this
matter shall in no way prejudice our rights regarding the
final distribution of the amount to be contributed by the
New Amsterdam Casualty Company and the Globe Indemnity
Company towarda this settlement;
