Re: Hoare
Gentlemen:
Answer: ing your letter of March 14th, regarding
Mrs. Hoare, you are advised that at the time Mrs. Hoare
was employed by your company she was married. She is, how-
ever, of the opinion that she used her maiden name, which
was Frances Tappan, for the reason that she did not want
her co-workers to know that she was married.
My client is of the opinion that as nearly as
she can presently recall, hor employment commenced with
your concern some time during the latter half of the year
1916 and ended possibly on or about the first of the
year
of 1917 or a few months thereafter. The period heretofore
mentioned was spent partly in your Orange plant and partly
in your Newark plant.
I want you to know that I approciate the attitude
of your company as denoted in your letter to me in trust that
we may be able to arrange an amicable adjustment.
Very truly yours,
AMK : H
