Dr. Herman Schlundt,
University of "issouri,
Columbia, No.
Dear Dr. Schlundt:
As I advised you some time ago the manuscript
covering the work done on Dr. John's patients was sent to the
American Journal of loentgenology on February 5th, but to date
I have not heard from them as to whether or not they find this
article suitable for publication.
I am meking inquiry as to their disposition in
the matter, and in the event they do not publish it in the near
future, I shall endeavor to have same published elsewhere.
I wonder if you could give Le roughly the
amounts of mesothorium which the Welsbach people have in process,
as well as stock which has not yet reached the tio year period -
also whether Dr. Miner has indicated to you what part or portion
of the aged material which they had on hand has been disposed of.
For various reasons I do not eare to take this
matter up directly with Dr. Miner at this time, and can assure
you that any information iven ne will be treated strictly con-
fidential.
What progness is Breckenridge making with the
reclaining of the radium from the aine residues? We hope to
have an additional lot of this material ready for shipment within
the next fow days.
Very truly yours,
Vice President.
