Edwin. T Smith Reymond Duronson Edwards & mith Law No.1 Exchange Place 2035 Telephone 2036 Monlgomery 2037 Jersey City N.J. June 3, , 1930. United States Radium Corporation, 535 Pearl St. New York, N.Y. Att: Mr. Barker. sayer Re: Baox VS. U.S. Radium Corp. JUN 5 1930 My dear Mr. Barker: I have your letter of May 9th, 1930, addressed to Mr. Markley and myself in the Radium matters, especially as to the interviews had with Dr. Humpliries. It looks, from the contents thereof, that Dr. Humphries is inclined to be friendly in relation to cases which have no real foundation. Your letter is the first information I. have had as to any claim by the woman, Mrs. Soax. Nothing has been forwarded to us from the insurance company relative to a claim by her. Of course, under such circums tances I could not advise you, and suggest that the proper procedure would be for you to write to the various insurance companies involved, informing them of the matters set out in your letter to Mr. Markley and myself, and ask their sentiments on the situation. With kindest regards to you, I am Yours very truly, EFS : LBC Edwin 7. South
