Mr. H. H. Barker
United States Radium Corporation
535 Pearl Street
New York City, New York
My dear Barker:
I am pleased to hear that Dr. Failla
has made at least one measurement on Miss Fryer and
the fact that he found the decrease so small is very
satisfying to me because it is evident that there
is
no such marked drop as Dr. Flinn reported for his
cases,
The Wulf-Hess electrometer has already
proved its worth. We may be able to do most of the
activities of the excreta from the rats by incinerat-
ing them and measuring the activity of the residues
by the gamma ray method using the Wulf-Hess instrument.
With best regards, I remain,
Sincerely yours,
Herman Schlunds
Herman Schlundt.
