Mr. H. H. Barker,
Vice President,
United States Radium Corporation,
535 Pearl St.
New York, N. Y.
Dear Mr. . Barker:
Your letter of May 20th received.
As far as I know, there is no reason why the
gamma-ray electroscope which you so very kindly loaned us
should not be returned to you. However, both Dr. Leake
and Mr. Knowles are away from the office at this time
and I will take the matter up with them and write you
again within a few days.
Your great kindness and courtesy in lending
this instrument, which has been of the greatest value
to us in our studies, has, I assure you, been very much
appreciated by the Public Health Service.
Yours sincerely,
