JUN 22 1931
New York City.
Gentlemen: In re: 1-0-531877-C- Mrs. Irene Corby LaPorte
vs.United States Radium Corporation.
We are in receipt of a communication from
Collins & Corbin, under date of June 16, 1931, copy of which
they sent to the Globe Indemnity Company, and the New
Amsterdam Casualty Company, together with a memorandum of
a conference between Mr. Barker, Mr. Markley, Mr.LaPorte
and Mr. Emmerglick.
We note from the same that it is
claimed by Mrs. Irene Corby LaPorte that she was employed
by you during a portion of 1917 and a few weeks during the
summer of 1918. Inasmuch as the policy of insurance which
you carried with us covering dial painting was not effective
until Nov. 4, 1919, we assume that this case does not fall
to us for attention. As we advised you before, hov ever,
we are very much interested in following the progress of
the case, and would appreciate being kept advised from time
to time.
Yours very truly,
BEE)MC
