I have used a Wulf-Hess bifilar gamma ray electroscope for the past ten years and I have found it to be the most sensitive as wll as dependable instrument of this type on the market. I can whole heartedly reconmend the instrument for the type of work for which it is designed. As far as I know the instrument is still manufactured by Gunther and Tegetneyer, GosinescheStrasse 29A Braunshweig Germany, in essentially the same design as the one we loaned to the Public Health Service.
