Gentlemen:
We acknowledge the receipt of your letter
March 15th and the summons and complaint in an
action brought against you in the Supreme Court, State
of New Jersey by Catherine Connolly and Thomas Connolly,
her husband, for damages on account of personal injur-
ies alleged to have been sustained by said Catherine
Connolly, while in your service.
Messrs. Edwards, Smith & Dawson, Attorneys
at law, 1 exchange Place, Jersey City, N. J. will co-
operate with the legal representatives of the other
Casualty Companies that may be interested in this lit-
igation, with the understanding that nothing we or our
attorneys may do in connection therewith shall waive
or prejudice our rights or defenses under the Workmens
Compensation policies of insurance issued to you, pending
a judicial decision interpreting our liability there-
under.
