My dear Dr. Barker:
I am quite anxious to have a conversa-
tion with you before very long and according to my present
plans I expect to be in New York on Thursday the 27th. inst.
I could not very well see you on Thursday,
however, but I could arrange to meet you on Wednesday the 26th.
late in the day if such an arrangement should suit your con-
venience. I should be very glad to have you take dinner with
me at the Chemists Club that evening if you can do so, if not
I could arrange to meet you any time after 3 o'clock either
at your office, at the Chemists Club, or at any other place
which you might designate.
Please write me as soon as you can as to
whether this conference during the coming week would be possible.
If I sould hear from you by Tuesday afternoon I could make my
plans very conveniently. If it is not convenient at this time
I shall be in New York one week later and possibly we could
make an arrangement for that time if you cannot see me earlier.
With very best possible regards, I am,
Yours very truly,
