Dear Mr. Lee:
I herewith send you my only copy of notice of
motion with interrogatories annexed together with my only
copy of order requiring us to answer certain of said interroga-
tories, the numbers of which are given in the order. Mr.
Smith and I have gone over these and we thought the best way
to draft the answers would be for you and Mr. Barker to go
over the questions and answer them as briefly as you can
and then send us the answers in duplicate and we will check
them over from a legal standpoint. Later on we can send them
back to you in final form to be signed by you. These answers
do not have to be under oath so that we should make the most
favorable answer to each question consistent with truth. As
these answers are not under oath, both you and Mr. Barker have
a right to draw on information, that is hearsay, so far as
you are concerned in making the answers. You also have the
right of course to refer to your records to get the answers.
Please give the matter your prompt attention as
we must file the answers within ten days
Yours very truly,
EAM: AG
