Dear Dr. Pohle: Confirming my telephone conversation of yes- terday, I an glad to herewith advise that arrengements have been made to take your deposition on Honday, May 21st, 1934, at the office of Messrs. Follansbee, Shorrey & Schupp, 137 La Selle St., Chicago, Ill. before Morris Cohen, a notary public sitting as a Commissioner. lie are sending you herewith copy of your deposition and that of Dr. Stevens, taken at Chicago on February 24, 1930. We hope that you will find time to read over this testimony, as it will serve to refresh your memory upon the points we desire to bring out. In case your comments relative to some of these points have changed since 1930, we would ask that you call these matters to our attention prior to taking the deposition in Chiesgo. Referring to page 106, you will note that you discussed patients whom you have treated with radium chloride internally, from your notes. If possible, you should bring these notes or similar ones with you. Mr. Markley and Mr. Smith will serve as counsel on behalf of the United States Radium Corporation, and either Mr. Emerglick or Mr. Unger in behalf of the plaintiff. According to our present plan, we shall arrive in Chicago on Monday morning and establish ourselves at the Palmer House. lie would suggest your calling there for us between 10:30 and 11 o'clock so that we may discuss the information to be taken in deposition form prior to appearing before the Com- missioner. - 2 - Dr. E. A. Pohle May 10, 1934. We wish that you would bring with you a copy of the deposition we are sending herewith 30 that it may be re- turned to us in Chicago. Should anything develope to change our plans, we shall advise you at once.
