Dr. S. C. Lind,
University of Minnesota,
Minneapolis, Minn.
Dear Dr. Lind:
lhile it has not been sottled beyond question
that the LaPorte case will be postponed from September 17th
until October 16th or later, still the present indications
are that we shall not go to trial on September 17th. We will
not know positively on this matter until September llth, and
I would therefore suggest that you send us your Clevelund ad-
dress ao that we could reach you if the occasion demonded.
We are sorry about the incertainties in these
matters, but know that you appreciate the pleasure of the
court as well as the attorneys concerned.
With kind regards, I an,
Sincerely yours,
