Dr. G. Failla,
Siemorial Hospital,
Central Pk W. & 106 St.,
New York City.
Dear Dr. Failla:
Pursuant to our conversation of several weeks
ago, I am glad to advise that we now have word from Dr.
Otto Hahn to the effect that he is willing to let our
license of his patents for the production of "free emanating
compound" remain in force for the balance of this year.
This he does on the ground that should we find that the use
of this material can be expended, we will enter into
negotiations with hin for readjustment of royalties, etc.
Ins.mich as the time factor is rather short here,
I call this to your attention with the hope that we may noon
get together to discuss a program for investigating the use
of this material in emanation plants, as discuased.
With kind regards, I an,
Sincerely yours,
Vice-President
