Replying to your letter of the 3955, plesse
be advieed thet on the 243h I received word from the Globe
Indernity Compeny that it would not pay anyshing to Mr.
Remerglick for various ressons, but primarily there
was no liability for any end the Company hall
already paid out a vory considerable aus of money on the
rediue litigation when in fuet there was no coverage.
The offer of the New Amoterden Casualty Commeny
represented by Omith, to pay $3000. uas conditions upon
the Globe paying $2000. and the offer of the Rañium Compeny
vas conditioned upon both of the insurance compenies paying
sonsthing.
I immediately gave Emergliek this informa-
tion and ha stated that he cave me informal notice over the
telephone that he voula appear before you next Priday at two
of clook subject to an engagement I have before Judge Ackerson,
and provided of course that engagement which às in the mozning
at sen ofolock will be finished by two, for the purpone of
finally settling this phase of the mitter.
In the moantine I an taking the metter up with
the Badium Company and with Mr. Smith or the Now Ansterdam
to find out whether they onre to maice any contribution, even
though the Globe does not.
