UNIVERSITY OF MINNESOTA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY MINNEAPOLIS SCHOOL OF CHEMISTRY OFFICE OF THE DEAN October 23, 1939 Mr. C. B. Lee United States Radium Corporation 535 Pearl Street New York City Dear Mr. Lee: Thank you very much for your letter of October 20 in which you kindly replied to my questions about the luminous paint industry. This is just the kind of information that I was anxious to have. I am also indebted for your suggestion that I might consult Dr. Craver and Dr. Ewing of Manor Hospital. I know one of their assistants, Dr. Failla, quite well. I think it might be well, as you suggest, to follow the matter up, although I doubt if I really need the treatment and will not take it if it seems to be at all doubtful. Sincerely yours, s.b Lind S.C.Lind scl/g OCT261939
