Date
Seot and the Midlands Express at the station--Royal Scot was coming on,
rear coaches svaying,motormen of Midlands applied his brakes while
aboard the Scot,a passenger had pulled emergecy cord so the Scot had
started to slow doun when rear cars jumped the track--she came
to
rest
wedged between the station and the Midlands Express which had come to
full stop by then,thus averting a great disaster (nine people were in-
jured in this one but it could have been disastrous if at full speed).
