of rescue shown--plane forced down in mountainous
area-=three were"injured"=-start a fire,store oil and branches
nearby
for "smoke smudge"--Gibson Girl radio set up and attached to tree--
sos letters 20 ft.high tracked in snow and tracks then filled with gree
branches for contrast vs.snov--planes take off,fly paralle1 from last
known area of contact with "downed" plane--see smoke rising thry trees-
fly close to make sure it's not a trapper's camp--in crash camp.when
planes are heard,ofl and branches are poured on fire--plane nears,smoke
parties start out with Weasels or dog-sleds used according to condition
grenade fired--search plane radios nearest land station==land rescue
