stration by U.S.Army Air Forces of new life raft
container to be used to launch a liferaft from ambulance plane--it's
made of plywood and skin and tail sections are painted
with dope to shrink it tight--seams are reinformced with "pinked"fabric
--launcher is suspended on wing braces of plane and release mechanism
attached--from latches on the door of the launcher,wire runs thru the
side of fuselage to cockpit--it has a handle,to be pulled by the pilot
to launch the liferaft--demonstration shows raft carefully packed to
fit into launcher and shows the actual !aunch--raft hits the water al-
most completely inflated--successful test gives another rescue aid
