Can card SHEET FILEI Description and Remarks PEARL HARBOR, HAWAII: (At UNDER U.S. NAVY Date of Event the Naval Air Station, the Navy receives the first May 1954 of its WV-2 (military version of the Lockheed Super Constellation) which will serve as a flying radar station for early warning system in conjunction with carrier based planes--there's a huge 20ft. lei placed over the odd-looking radome of the new plane before the formal delivery ceremony--it's put in place by a Navy crane--Capt. W.V.R.Vieveg who is commanding officer of Fleet Air-Hawali introduces Burt C.Monesmith, VP of Lockheed Aircraft Corp. who officially delivers the plane to the Navy--Admiral Felix B.Stump who is Commander-in-Chief of the Pacific and U.S. Pacific Fleet accepts the plane- Ad. Stump assign SEE OVER FORM 2530-8M-12/68 OVER PRINTED IN U.S.A.
