KEARSERGE..WV-2 over ocean,joined by Navy's jet fighter-interceptors--
INFORMATION: these "Flying Rader Stations" are an addition to the
Early Warning System of our Defense--they can detect eneay aircraft
more quickly with these stations than heretofore--from their positions
they can direct the aircraft from their associated carrier to the best
vantage point to intercept the "enemy"---INFORMAT ION SHEETS are filed
in the Library Ref.File under "U.S.Navy"--includes photo of the Flying
Radar Station(W-2).
