readied for test firing--man stand beside rocket to show its size-
men work on rocket launcher--rocket fired--slo motion of rocket being
launched
INFORMAT ION: (rocket reaches speed of sound in just 2
SECONDS--It is the Hypersonic Test Vehicle which is a two-stage prop-
ellant rocket--first stage is booster which raises second stage to a
supersonic velscity--when 1st stage burns out,it falls away and second
stage ignites--this stage collects the hypersonic data on aerodynamic
heating ,aerodynamic shapes and air pressures
