(A) Test of Liquid sled which runs on supersonic track--the
liquid sled bridges gaps between wind tunnel and free-flight testing--
we see plume-like spray nearly envelope the sled--(it is water flowing
hetween the raiss to aid stopping vehicles which range up to 15,000 1b
in weight--SNORT (which means Supersonic Naval Ordnance Research Track
is the unit used for the tests--speeds in excess of 2200 mph have been
SNORT used again for tests--solid propellant rockets thrust the sleds
reached
