MYITKYINA AIRFIELD,NO.BURMA--Jap stronghold captured by Allies-vair-
borne engineers stand by 120m1 northwest-eplanes start up and the air-
borne engineers climb aboard-ogliders are loaded with tractors and othe
airbase equipment -- liders begin to land,men alert to any danger altho
covered by loaded gliders come in fast-wone in
fast,hurdles over a parked glider and crashes into some bushes where
Jap snipers are wounded from crashes are treated and taken
off by C47 tow planes--Chinese soldiers still cleaning nut Jap snipers
even as work gets started by the engineers to make the field usable for
