INFORMATION: (the big bomber has been stripped of al-
most five tons of excess weight to permit her to cruise at 50,000 feet
at greater range and speed but the massive size of the bomber has not
changed--she is capable of delivering most devastating attacks at any
point on the earth's surface--Strategic Air Command is beginning to re
tire the B-36 in favor of the new B-52s but the B-36 has a long job
ahead of her yet
