President strongly urge you to declare an executive moratorium on Federal Congress of National Black Churches executions immediately. We believe that your executive leadership in Sullivan Robinson, Executive Director & CEO taking this action will be a fitting capstone to your rich presidential Congressional Black Caucus legacy of fairness and equity, a legacy which has strengthened your Honorable James Clyburn, Chair Honorable David N. Dinkins strong ties to our BLF and CNBC communities in mutual respect and Member-at-Large Dr. Dorothy I. Height trust. Clearly, the most proximate beneficiary of your moratorium will Member-at-Large be Juan Raul Garza, whose scheduled execution on December 12, Percy E. Sutton, Esq. Member-at-Large 2000, would be the first Federal execution in nearly 40 years unless Ambassador Andrew Young you, through your historic moratorium, grant him clemency.
