initiatives in the 2001 budget. If you could provide any edits ASAP

Indian Housing. The budget provides $650 million in block grants for the
Indian housing Block Grant Program, an increase of $30 million over FY
2000.
Indian Homeownership Intermediaries. The budget proposes to set

aside $5 million within the Indian Housing Block Grant to create
100% strikethrough: a
national )non-profit homeownership intermediaries in Indian Country.

creation of a
private homeownership market in Indian Country and will support
local capacity-building intermediaries or ?one-stop mortgage
centers.?
VIIION
Economic Development Planning Grants. The President?s budget expands
language within the Native American set-aside of the Community
Development Block Grant to allow for stand-alone economic
development planning grants.
