Today either call into the board
meeting at 5:30 or speak privately with
Field at 6:00.
RECOMMENDED BY:
Political Affairs
PURPOSE:
To promote the President's agenda to the
Flight Attendants.
BACKGROUND:
As you know, Bill Press spoke to the
group yesterday in CA. Many of the
members were offended by his talk, and
do not feel like he offered a compelling
reason to support this Administration.
There are approximately 75 people on the
Association's Board. They are expected
to vote on a general election
endorsement for the President this
evening.
TOPICS OF DISCUSSION:
1)
The Flight Attendants and labor are
important to the White House and to
our reelection efforts.
2)
Discuss the importance to unions
and working families of keeping a
Democratic White House.
You should not mention Bill Press or
American Airlines (AA is not represented
by the Association). Also, the flight
attendants of United are not part of the
ESOP.
