I wanted you to know that Terry will be appointed later today as the new Democratic State
Chairman in Kentucky. I plugged him into Terry McAuliffe earlier and he is now on your re-elect
finance board. As a fund raiser for you and as state chair, he can be very helpful.
I worked for McBrayer in the late 1970's and he is one of the most distinguished and effective
people I have ever known. He is a real star. Although he will have to focus on the Governor's
race in Kentucky this November, he is excited about working for the President's re-election.
I wanted you to know this before you see him on Monday at your meeting.
