September 1995 event for the Center for National
Policy (former Congressman Mike Barnes)
On 20 June, I spoke with former Congressman Mike Barnes who is on
the board of the Center for National Policy. He would like to
know whether the President will be able to attend an evening
event sponsored by the Center at which the President would
receive the distinguished citizen's award given by the Center.
It is currently scheduled for late September, but it could be
moved to early October.
According to Mr. Barnes, the Vice President attended last year
and received the award.
I don't think this is critical. Please let me know what you
decide.
