SUBJECT: Chirlane McCray
Carol, attached is the resume of Chirlane McCray who is interested in a position on your
communications or public affairs staff at UNICEF. Chirlane, who is African-American, is
married to Bill deBlasio, our Clinton/ Gore New York State Director and former top aid to
Bill Lynch. She currently is a speechwriter for Comptroller Carl McCall. I hope you will
find a few minutes to look over her resume and perhaps give her a call, should any positions
open up in the near future. I believe she would be a real asset to an organization such as
UNICEF.
In the meantime, we miss your smile and happy attitude. I trust there is more of that in your
