Ron Lester, of Lester and Associates
Attached is copy of a 22 February 1995 memorandum from Lester and
Associates to Chairman Don Fowler which the Chairman and I had
requested of Mr. Lester. Mr. Lester is highly regarded by
Secretary Ron Brown and others as a Black pollster/consultant who
specializes in polling Black voters and mobilizing Black turn
out.
As we discussed at the 18 March meeting, the DNC is considering
retaining this firm at the approximate rate of $5,000/month. I
understand that this firm is retained by the DCCC.
Jack said he would undertake to get Mr. Lester in to meet with
you.
