THE WHITE HOUSE
WASHINGTON
13 March 1995
MEMORANDUM TO BOB NASH
FROM:
Harold Ickes
SUBJECT:
Gail McDonald
Gail McDonald, who is the wife of a Federal Election
Commissioner, is a member of the Interstate Commerce Commission
which is about to be abolished at the initiative of the
Administration. It is important to find a good position for her
in the government similar to the one she occupies, although she
does not necessarily have to hold a chair as she does on the ICC.
I understand that she is interested in a position on the Nuclear
Regulatory Commission.
Please keep me posted.
